About The Outer Banks Wedding & Etiquette Library
Welcome to the Outer Banks Wedding & Etiquette Library, a Premier Resource center for brides and their families.
The Library is located at 6345 North Croatan Highway in Southern Shores. The Library is a convenient and efficient way for a bride to find all of her vendors under one roof. The Outer Banks Wedding & Etiquette Library was created to bring premier vendors directly to brides. The Library will serve as their location to not only preview portfolios, receive consultations and taste catering or cakes, but also her place to meet vendors without having to drive all around the beach. The Library will showcase current magazines, books and portfolios of vendors to review in a chic and comfortable location. In addition, all vendors that have been accepted into the library by invitation only, have been prescreened and accepted as “premier vendors”.
Most importantly, the Library is free of charge to all brides and their families. The Library is here to make your wedding planning and do it yourself ideas as easy as possible.
Our Founders
About seven years ago, Marie Russell from Bordeaux Events was given the idea for a wedding library by a vendor she worked with. After nine years of working in the wedding industry, she toured an office space which she found to be a perfect fit to open up a wedding library. Partnering with Renee Landry Style and Amanda McGruder (also a wedding planner of Bordeaux Events), they created the Outer Banks Wedding & Etiquette Library, a premier bridal resource center for brides.
